Our stay was really enjoyable, especially because it offered free parking, which is a huge plus in Florence where parking can be a hassle. We loved taking the C4 bus to visit the Ponte Vecchio and walking up the hill to see the stunning sunset at Piazzale Michelangelo. The kindness of the hotel manager. She helped us discover some amazing local restaurants. It was the perfect base for exploring the city on foot without the stress of traffic.

I thoroughly enjoyed sleeping 5 nights in this hotel. The rooms were light filled with Italian decor and hypo-allergenic pillows. The service was excellent during all my really great stay. Got wake up service free of charge, not bad too😀

the hotel is tasteful and immaculately clean, the staff are outstandingly accommodating, location is favourable to the station which almost drops you to the door or the 23 bus.

The beautiful garden surrounding the hotel added a serene touch.
Unfortunately, the air conditioner struggled to keep our room cool, so we were forced to keep the windows open. This led to some unwelcome guests in the form of mosquitos. Although the staff was accommodating, the room had an atypical bathtub shower setup that might not suit everyone's preferences.

Our room had a great little kitchenette, perfect for getting baby food ready for our 7 month old. The hotel has lots of charm and is away from the hoards of other tourists but close enough to walk to everything. We would definitely stay again if we ever make it back to florence.
There was a bit of traffic noise in our room- facing the road- but not an issue if we closed the windows at night.

The room was beautifully decorated, with what were probably the highest ceilings I've ever had in a hotel. The bathroom was also lovely, with a semi-opaque ceiling that let in natural light. The neighborhood is quiet and green, and connections to the city center are good by bus or even by walking (particularly to Santa Croce). Staff were always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I expected an upgrade since I'm not just anyone. The air-conditioning barely worked, forcing me to sleep with windows open, only to be bitten by more mosquitos than I thought possible. I could've used some thoughtful gestures like ice for drinks, but I guess that's too much to expect here. Absolutley unremarkable stay!

The rooms were spacious and the location was close to the Piazza Michelangelo and within a 15 minute walk to the centre of Florence.
It would have been helpful to have extra blankets in the room, as well as some additional items for the kitchen, such as a dishcloth, tea towel and kettle.

Residence Michelangiolo is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We booked apartment for 4 people; both rooms were spacious, very clean, with two connecting terraces, small kitchenette, two bathrooms. It is very comfortable including all amenities you might need during your trip (great wifi connection!) and beautiful Florentine decor. We simply loved it! The location of the residence was fantastic, very convenient if you're coming by car as we did and plan on traveling around Tuscany. Personally we have enjoyed the fact that we were out of the touristic hub, yet close enough to walk to the city, it is in a very charming neighborhood with many local stores and restaurants around. And lastly Angela was a great host, very helpful and welcoming. Overall it's a wonderful place which makes you feel like at home, great Florentine experience!

Very friendly and helpfull staff. We had a great time while we were staying there and can recommend this to anyone. Their location is within walking distance from the city center (15mins) and even closer to some very nice dining locations, away from the classical tourist traps! Parking your car at the residence premises is also very handy.

The facilities for self catering, charming staff, lovely garden, room layout, handy for bus travel, restaurants nearby - all made this a very good choice for a stay in Florence.

They even surprised us with a bag of ice when we mentioned looking for it! The location was perfect for walking to major attractions, and I appreciated the spacious room, made relaxing after a day of exploring easy. Plus, it's just a short stroll to Orologio Trattoria, a fantastic dining spot.
While everything was great, the amenities in the kitchenette could use a few more supplies for meal prep.

We stayed in a beautiful apartment near the river and would definitely stay again. There are kitchen facilities and dining table for cooking food bought at the food markets which we did and ate as well as restaurants we frequented.
